Sheila Brear, BDS

Dr. Sheila Brear is a full time faculty member at the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry where she is the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. She teaches Prosthodontics and General Dentistry to predoctoral students and see patients in the intramural practice one day per week. Dr. Brear graduated from The London Hospital Dental School in England in 1986. After graduation she moved to Hong Kong (where she had grown up) and opened her own private practice while also teaching part time at the Prince Philip School of Dentistry. In 1997, she moved to California and attended the three year Prosthodontic program at UCSF. Immediately on graduating from the program, she joined the faculty at UCSF and became a course director of removable prosthodontics and subsequently fixed prosthodontics in the predoctoral program.
